Mulled Wine Fruit Compote

Our mulled wine fruit compote has been a staple on our restaurant cheese board for many years. Premium sun-dried BC fruit is slowly simmered in BC VQA red wine with sugar and mulling spices until rehydrated and infused with flavour. Enjoy at home paired with both strong or mild cheeses. This compote pairs exceptionally well with strong blue cheese or mild soft cheese. Use as a topping for baked brie, serve with pork chops, or spread on scones - this versatile fruit compote will become a staple in your kitchen.
